Carlos Manuel Uribe Sáenz
Carlos is a prominent businessman and recognized environmental leader. During his business career, he has served as president and vice president of the Board of Directors of Walmart of Central America, executive president of the Urban Development Sector of Cuestamoras and executive president of Agroindustrial Development for Walmart Central America as well as occupying various executive positions, member of the Board of Directors of the Supermercados Unidos Corporation for more than 25 years and president of the Board of Directors of Inmobiliaria ENUR.
He is president of the Friends of Cocos Island Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Forever Costa Rica Association, in addition to having been a founding member of the Marviva Association in Costa Rica.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration from McGill University in Canada and the Advanced Management Program at INCAE Business School. He has a diploma in photography from the Germain School of Photography in New York.
