Margo obtained a graduate degree from Colgate University and a master’s from the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies from Yale University.
She worked for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for more than 15 years in the development, launch and management of conservation projects and programs in Latin America and the United States, including the initiation of the carbon sequestration project in the forests of Bolivia and the creation of a new program and a private reserve in Chile, as well as in the design of the Forever Costa Rica Program.
She has also served as director of TNC Conservation Programs for Maryland/DC. Earlier, Margo worked in research on renewable energies and in the analysis of for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She has also been a guest speaker and has published articles, both in English and Spanish, in various countries.
